Please DO NOT COMMIT SUICIDE! You are very special! Whether you were drafted or enlisted you entered the history of this great country and while people may not know you by your birth name, as a Veteran you are loved, remembered, prayed for and embraced every day of every year by more people that you and I combined can imagine! No other person, besides a Veteran can be bestowed that honor. So many people truly understand what your sacrifices mean to their rights and freedom. They really do care and are deeply upset when a Veteran commits suicide because it's personal. You are a part of many families lives even when you appear to sit alone. Ask for help! It's a depression that surrounds you and there are ways to feel better. Get a start by calling any suicide prevention hotline or the Veteran Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1.
Asking for help is NOT a sign of weakness, it is a strength long part of every warriors set of skills. The most skilled warrior knows when a battle must be fought with the aid of others. Veteran's fight beside each other. It's no different when a Veteran needs help to fight against depression, pain etc.
Do me a favor to save my life. Believe that one day, I may need you to help me. My life's been pretty crappy and one day with my eyes closed and emotions scattered, I may not see clearly as I do now. I will need my Veteran to save my life! Please if you ask for help, you can save my life too!
